A Little About
​Myself.

  • I graduated from the University of New Orleans with a BA in Theatre in 2017.
  • This is my fourth year teaching at McKinley Middle and my fifth year teaching overall.
  • I teach Talented Theatre here at MMAM on B Days, and I also teach Talented Theatre at BRCVPA. 

Talented Theatre

 Principles of improvisation, theatre history, stage blocking, monologues, acting, short dramas, basic make-up and basic stage craft are covered. The course is a performance class. Students are expected to work diligently toward an excellent product. Reading, writing, rehearsing and memorizing are vital to success in Theatre Arts.
Supplies:
  • Composition Notebook
  • highlighters
  • pencils
 Class Rules: 
  • Be Prepared for class with notebook, writing utensil, and any other required materials
  • Display respectful behavior (to yourself, to me, and to the students around you)
  • Be responsible
  • NO phone or electronic device except to use in Google Classroom.
  • Participate in class by: 
    • Being open to constructive criticism in order to improve as a performer 
    • Contributing to the discussion without being rude, judgmental, or talking over someone else.
    • Being willing to put yourself out there and act
